Judy Krupp is a senior yoga teacher and partners with Byron Yoga as a senior teacher trainer. Originally trained as an Iyengar teacher, Judy now teaches a therapeutic practice blending the art of asana practice with the science and mechanics of movement. She teaches with both humour and passion and encourages her students to move beyond their perceived limitations.
Our new purpose-built yoga & retreat space @ Kurrara can accommodate up to 12 people comfortably. Nestled in the grounds of Kurrara, our yoga studio Kalimna (meaning beautiful space) has been designed to complement the existing heritage guest house.
An ambient light-filled 55sqm space, crafted with recycled timbers, and a large bay window. Recycled 6" Baltic pine floorboards, generous proportions and a vaulted ceiling. Ceiling fans and reverse-cycle air-conditioning provide heating/cooling comfort.
Kurrara is the perfect yoga retreat venue for your group with 9 queen rooms, some with secondary single beds for shared accommodation, and additional accommodation nearby at Lurline Villa. Let us design a program from our range of bespoke activities for your group. Retreat space is offered to teachers and their students staying at Kurrara Our chef can provide a menu of delicious organic, vegetarian food.
Visiting guests and locals can join in our weekly yoga classes held every Wednesday & Saturday from 10.00am - 11.30am with Evelyn, a Level 2 teacher (min 500hrs training) and over 15 years experience. Fully insured. All mats & props provided You can read Evelyn's bio here. Reduce anxiety and stress, increase strength, flexibility and improve balance. We cater for beginners/general and over 55's. We work to your ability with clear & precise instructions, and provide variations for injury/restrictions - book here Cost $25 per class, or $75 for a private 1 hour lesson.
